Important Notes
New Start Date for
some Upper School practices:
The IHSA has approved a new fall start date for Girls Tennis, Cross
Country, and Girls Volleyball. It will now coincide with the other IHSA
sport start for Boys Soccer and Golf, which is Wednesday August 13,
2008. This will simplify things for some families, but we realize
that this announcement may be too late for some of you to change your
plans. If this is the case, please just send an email to
kross@elginacademy.org. We
will be keeping formal attendance from the originally posted start date
not the new one.

in on "HighSchoolSports.net" or finding your student's sport? Click

For the first practice of the year, parents must
wait until their student-athlete has checked in with Ms. Ross or the
respective Coach
before leaving their student.

All required forms* (Emergency
Medical, Waiver, and Physical)
must be submitted to the school BEFORE the students are allowed to
participate.

for downloading
in PDF format on EA's DOWNLOAD page.
Also, the necessary forms will be mailed in your student's
'back-to-school-packet' by the respective division secretaries in early
August.

EA's Athletic Schedules are now
managed online through "HighSchoolSports.net" This new feature offers you
access to the most up-to-date athletic schedules. Please remember to
select your student's SPORT to view the
appropriate sport schedule.
