Innisbrook Wraps Fundraiser
2009-2009
Help Support Our School and Students!
Introducing our Fall Fundraiser with Innisbrook Wraps
START DATE: September 5, 2008
PICK-UP DATE: November 12, 2008 (Wednesday; time TBD)
Everyone Wants to be GREEN...Innisbrook is GREEN
As a family-owned company in the printing business for more than
50 years, Innisbrook makes many choices to be green and
environmentally friendly.
These choices include:
-
Using papers that contain post-consumer waste fibers. All our gift
wrap papers are not only beautiful they are also printed on
recycled paper.
-
We use only water and soy-based inks to print our gift wraps.
Leftover inks are reformulated and recycled for other designs.
-
Printing on US made SAPPI papers with strict standards defined in
the Sustainable Forestry Initiative Program, pulp produced in the
US using the ECF (elemental chlorine free) process, and 75% of all
energy consumed derived from renewable resources (see
www.sappi.com for more
information).
-
We purchase our paper from mills that support local and global
environmental initiatives.
-
All Innisbrook gift wrap is biodegradable, with only one
foil design as the exception.
-
We RECYCLE previous year’s papers into our own bag collections.
-
With leading-edge technology we have reduced the number of printed
paper reports generated by posting a school’s sales history (up to
3 years) on-line.
-
We have also made the ultimate “green” choice with our Automated
Parent Order Entry, eliminating multiple-page order forms, FedEx
boxes, reducing the number of parent errors (and reports needed)
AND reducing energy usage by eliminating order form processing.
-
Our student pack box is made with recycled paper. We have reduced
waste by using different size boxes in our deliveries. Orders
including gift wrap and chocolates are packed in one box not two.
Small orders are bagged, labeled and group boxed to eliminate
wasteful use of more boxes.
-
We use recycled paper to print sales materials, catalogs and
collection envelopes.
-
Parents will have an opportunity to purchase items that offer
sensible solutions and ways to “go green” at home.
Innisbrook is in a unique position to support a green environment
because we are the only company in the fundraising industry that
manufactures our own gift wrap and paper products. This also
means that you are in a unique position to make a fundraising choice
that will have a significant impact on our environment.
Look for your
sales kits on September 5th - Thank you!
