Parent Association Support

Parents play an integral role in supporting the school by sharing their time and talents to ensure that our yearly fundraisers are successful. Every parent is a member of the Elgin Academy Parent Association (EAPA), through the dues paid at the beginning of the year.

The EAPA conducts many fundraisers throughout the year, such as gift wrap sales, Market Day, and the spring plant sale. A small portion of the money raised throughout the year is used to fund special events such as Homecoming and provide useful tools such as the Orange Book (the EA student, parent, and staff directory). The majority of the funds are given back to the school through gifts granting requests made via the Wish List (requests from teachers for items that will enhance their classrooms or curriculum).
