Barrington resident and World Champion Silver Medalist, Grandmaster Yury Shulman hosts Chess Tournament at Elgin Academy

On Saturday March 20th Elgin Academy hosted a chess tournament where GM
Yury Shulman discussed his matches at the world championship.
Shulman's "Chess Without Borders" regularly donates a portion of their
proceeds from events to various charitable organizations both
locally and around the world. Approximately 60 students competed in the weekend tournament including over 20 EA students.
