Elgin Academy is an extraordinary place of Tradition, Innovation and Excellence! 

Since the day that EA opened its doors in 1839, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, trustees, alumni and their families have been helping to ensure our school’s future with contributions that demonstrate an overwhelming support for the vision and mission of the Academy.

As an independent, 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization, we dependent on the partnership of everyone in our EA family to provide the vital components that allow us to effectively deliver our mission to our students—excellent academic, athletic, visual and performing arts programs, dedicated faculty, and a diverse and interesting peer group.

The Office of Development is here to serve you.  We are committed to providing opportunities for members of the EA family to become our educational partner in developing the potential of EA students so that they may acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to become intellectually engaged and confident about their place in the world.

We invite you to make a difference contributing your time, talents and financial gifts for the good of all students in support of our mission. Whether it is volunteering your time at the Phone-a-thon, sharing your expertise with students on Career Day, serving on the Homecoming or Extravaganza Planning Committee(s) and participating in the Annual Fund, you can contribute to Elgin Academy today to provide for its future.
