We are a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), the national organization that sets standards and oversees private schools nationwide.

Elgin Academy is listed as a 2023 NICHE best school.

Elgin Academy participates in the the Illinois High School Association (IHSA), the governing body for our high school athletics and competitive activities. 

Elgin Academy is also a member of the Independent School League Athletic Conference.
