Describe your teaching philosophy in one sentence.

My goal as a teacher is to make myself unnecessary. (That is, I want my students to be able to--and want to--go on and learn without me.)

What is the most fulfilling part of being a teacher?

Feeling like I'm making a difference in the lives of kids.

What makes an Elgin Academy education so unique?

The relationships that develop between students and teachers.

What has been your most memorable moment at Elgin Academy?

Any time I see the light bulb go on.
