Congratulations to Elgin Academy Junior, Addison Lanton, who won the State Girls Singles Championship 6-3, 6-1. There was a great crowd of Hilltoppers courtside to support Addison and cheer her on. This is Addison's second state title after winning the State Doubles Title last year with her sister Noelle.
In the last 2 years, Addison:
- Is 58-0
- Hasn't lost a set
- 2022 Doubles State Champion
- 2023 Singles State Champion
Congratulations on being the most dominant athlete in the 185 year history of Elgin Academy and one of the most accomplished IHSA athletes of all-time!
