“I was surprised at how economically diverse the school actually was. I was a little nervous, stereotyping, what the school would be like. It’s really a school for anyone looking for a different experience from a public school.”

Tuition Assistance
There are a variety of factors that can come into play when determining your family’s expected financial investment. As a result, the investment may vary by family. Neither the family nor Elgin Academy staff can accurately estimate the tuition for which a family qualifies.
For a personalized tuition review, families complete an application by providing information such as income, assets, various financial obligations, and the number of students in the family attending Elgin Academy. This information is taken into consideration when determining the best financial fit for your family.
Applications are processed through the national Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) system. FAST provides Elgin Academy a Personalized Tuition recommendation that we then share with each family.
Applications for tuition adjustments are reviewed in accordance with the school’s budget. Those families who qualify for assistance may be placed on a waitlist for enrollment and will be notified when/if assistance is available for their student’s grade.
