Student Shadow Day

A hallmark of the Elgin Academy admissions process is the opportunity for prospective students to experience a day in the life of an EA student. An EA shadow day consists of sitting in on classes, interacting with other students, meeting faculty, and getting the feel of Elgin Academy. Schedule a shadow day and experience the Elgin Academy difference!

Early Childhood Students (Preschool/PreKindergarten) will visit in the classroom for a half day. Lower School students will visit in their current grade classroom for a full day including the opportunity to experience the "specials" classes offered that day (art, music, library, PE, or World Language). Middle and Upper School Students will be matched with a current EA student in their grade and follow that student throughout their day attending classes, assemblies, clubs, and more.
