Partnership in Education
A gift to Elgin Academy is an investment in developing the creative, courageous, and compassionate leaders of our future.
The Partnership in Education program awards needs-based scholarships to Upper School students. In order to build the diverse and lively school community that is so essential to authentic learning, Elgin Academy recruits and enrolls qualified students without regard to their ability to pay, up to the limit of funds available for financial aid.
The differentiated experience at Elgin Academy educates and guides the students of today who will be the leaders of tomorrow making a positive impact on the world.
The Partnership in Education program awards needs-based scholarships to Upper School students from Elgin and surrounding communities with this goal in mind.
Donors provide tuition support for one or more students and Elgin Academy funds the remainder of the students’ need. Scholar candidates are identified by means of active outreach by the Academy's administrative and volunteer leadership. The Academy's Admission Office solicits referrals from several area public and private school teachers and guidance counselors and recipients must satisfy the Academy's selective admission requirements.
