ENGLISH SKILLS, STEM, AND SUMMER FUN

Students will improve basic English skills, expand technical knowledge, and explore the Chicago area. Students will first participate in one week of intensive English classes with a focus on improving vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Then, during the second (and optional third) week, students will participate in morning English classes followed by afternoon hands-on science, arts, and technology classes with American students. Weekends will be filled with social activities and sightseeing.

 

Dates: July 8 to 26, 2019

Age Requirements: 12-15 years

Program Duration: 2 weeks or 3 weeks

Levels Covered: Beginner to Advanced

English Lessons (50-90 Minutes Each): 20 (2 weeks), 25 (3 weeks)

Excursions: 7 (2 weeks), 11 (3 weeks)

Possible Excursion Destinations: Amusement Park, Navy Pier, Art Institute, Lincoln Park Zoo, Magnificent Mile, Millenium Park, State Park, Local shopping, Local sites, College Visits.
