ACT/SAT Test Preparation Courses

Gain an extra edge when taking the ACT/SAT by enrolling in a test preparation class. Join Elgin Academy’s experienced faculty to brush up on your skills and learn valuable testing strategies. Both tests will be covered in each section but only one book is needed. Students will need to purchase The Official ACT Prep Guide, 2016-2017 (ISBN-10: 1119225418). section.

Students should expect an out-of-class workload similar to the time we spend in class.  Therefore, a student who is in class for 2 hours total for these subjects should expect 2 hours of work to complete at home each day.

Students who have completed an Algebra II class will benefit the most from the ACT/SAT Math class (note that all EA students reach this level by the end of their junior year at the latest), A calculator is also needed for the math class.

Make sure you are prepared, don’t miss out on Elgin Academy’s test prep courses.
